Weeks of work finally complete in the full overhaul of the UI for FilamentColors! For years now, I've used the paid theme Material Kit Pro from Creative Tim, but it has had some challenges:
- lack of updates
- small bugs that haven't been fixed
- weird edge cases
- cannot distribute with the rest of the source code
Since I haven't been able to distribute the theme, anyone else wanting to work on the site has essentially been hamstrung by broken UI pieces everywhere. This release moves us back to vanilla Bootstrap, complete with all the latest and greatest features!
New Features
- DARK MODE!
- Toggle on by going to Settings and flipping the first toggle 🙂
- Full UI replacement
There should be no real logic changes here; this is entirely UI focused. And I'm just really excited to finally get this out the door!!
